Angarpada Panchayat College, Raruan is established by local intellectuals in the year 1980 located at “Medhamundi” is mostly geographically separated from the state by the flow of river “Bhandan” and Belma Stream. It is a border based college adjacent to the Jharkhand state about (0.5 KM) away. The locality is mostly dominated by schedule caste and schedule tribe population who are economically unsound to educate their children outside. The institution helps provide education to a large number of poor and meritorious students. The idea of promoting a center of higher learning has been materialised by the well wishers, Guardian and Non Teaching Staff in particular and student in general.
